1942 – George Trouland was a bus mechanic for the MTA in the forties after he returned home from the war. After a close friend introduced him to locksmithing they decided to take a chance and go into the locksmithing business.
1948 – George Trouland along with his friend started Pimlico Key Service in a small garage on Park Heights Avenue in Baltimore
1950 – After being one of very few locksmiths in the area, Pimlico continued to grow with such force that they needed to move into a much larger facility which is their current location on Reisterstown Rd. in Baltimore.
1977 – George Trouland passed away, leaving his legacy to his son, John Trouland.
1981 – John Trouland had as much ambition as his father and with the help of over 30 Employees including several family members; they decided to reach out to the wholesale side of the Security Industry.
2011 – John Trouland passed away, leaving a true piece of Baltimore History to carry on with his son, Kyle Trouland.
